Lucy has taken a post as a governess with a new family to try and escape the attention of the brother of her last employer. But things change when she is on the way to her new position. The plans don't work out like she thought. Now she is engaged to an unconscious man and living at his family's home.

Simon hasn't seen his brother in years and now he has arrived home sick and unconscious. But also returns with a fiancé. Simon has his doubts about the whole situation. He also maybe starting to fall in love with his brother's supposed fiancé.

This story kind of reminded me of the movie While you were sleeping. Which is one of my favorite movies. I listened to this on the Deseret Bookshelf.
