"I almost died!" .... "You didn't," he says. "I was with you the whole time. I would never let you go, Teeny."

This story is a second chance romance. Ethan and Valentina go on a road trip after Ethan's grandpa passes away. A part of his will was that they had to go on a road trip to several places that were part of their relationship and had special meaning. They only thing was they hadn't been together in four years. Their relationship had ended with some hurt feelings on both ends.

As they are on this road trip they are reminded of what they had and what they really loved about each other. It was also an opportunity for them to talk about what happened and to find out why it happened the way it did.

I love reading second chance romances. Where they come back together and are able to make things work out. Sometimes I feel like they break up just because the timing wasn't right and they had some growing up to do. Then once they are able to mature and see it from a different perspective then they can make things work out.
