Do you ever read a book that has a good story line but because you are in a weird headspace it’s hard to read?

I started this book last week but with us moving and being so exhausted at night I really wasn’t able to finish reading it till today. 

This one you get a storyline from three different people. So it threw me off when it started a chapter using a different females name. I had to check back in the previous chapter to make sure I really had read the name correctly. 

I did feel at times it was jumpy and I wasn’t getting all the info and there were more details so that would have been helpful. I really feel like the characters were hard to connect with and that it didn't make me want to truly keep reading.  This was book three so maybe it would have been more helpful to read the others but I still feel like it would have been very choppy.
