To Marry an Earl
By Karen Thornell
Release date: September 1, 2021
Hurt. Pain. Love. Friends. Enemies.
Kate who has grown up not knowing what it is like to truly feel loved and having a father who wishes she was a boy. A father who no longer wants to pay the expenses and gotten himself in a heap of debt. He also decides to sell her off to the highest bidder.
James who was childhood friends with Kate and has always loved her. He would do anything for her even when she won't let him in. Who raised from nothing to become an Earl and finally feel like he is good enough for Kate.
Karen Thornell has done a wonderful job on writing a story that has a character who has to learn to trust and to allow herself to put her heart out there and learn to trust. Also with James having to be patient and not rush things. It is a great reminder that we sometimes have to put ourselves out there in order to experience the greatest joys and desires of our heart.
I loved reading this story and just wanted to be able to finish getting it read. It always seems like when I am getting to the really good part of the book that I am getting interrupted and not able to read it like I would like.
